Webull, the zero-commission stock broker, is developing a new sophisticated investment product for its users.
The New York-based company announced Tuesday it had get the option license and would offer commission free options trading.
An option is a financial product that gives investors the right to buy or sell a security at a specified price in the future.

New York, July 16, 2019, New York-based webull Financial LLC, a zero-commission stock broker, announced on Tuesday that it had got the put and call broker or dealer license and the company would offer zero-commission stock trading online for it’s user sin the near future, which is the newest innovation since its partnership with Click IPO to provide access to Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) and Secondary Offerings.

As was disclosed on the Broker Check of FINRA’s website, Webull currently conducts 9 types of business, including broker or deaer retailing corporate equity securities over-the-counter, selling corporate debt securities, put and call broker or dealer or option writer, and so on.

In 2018, by focusing on technology and automation, Webull challenged the finance industry with the launch of zero-commission equity trading, paving the way for millions of Americans to participate in their own financial system.

This year, Webull will do it again, with launching zero-commission options trading, rooted in the belief that sophisticated investment tools don’t need to be complex or reserved for the wealthy.

Options don’t get the same attention on Main Street as stock trading, but they make up a huge market on Wall Street. An option allows an investor to buy or sell an asset or security-say a stock or a currency-at a certain price at a specified date in the future. Options allow investors to bet on the price of an asset in the future, or to hedge their bets elsewhere against an unexpected price swing.

Webull, a disruptive financial technology startup, has made a name for itself in online brokers, and has been a darling of millennials. It now allows investors to trade stocks and ETFs for free.

Webull’s market data app is used globally by over 10 million users for real time stock quotes updates as well as paper trading and ticker fundamentals. All these features are gathered together to ensure users can test out trades and make smarter trading decisions.

Webull’s comprehensive market data platform makes sure that users do not have to leave the app in order to get all the technical and fundamental information that they need. Webull’s charts hold over 25 different indicators and the time interval data can be boiled down to minute-by-minute intervals. With side-by-side chart comparisons, traders can even compare individual stocks against industry ETFs.

In May, Anthony Denier, CEO of Webull Finanacial, told Benzinga the company would continue to roll out new features to meet the needs of its users as they mature as investors.
